Art is done, on to letters
2 days ago – Tue, Sep 29, 2026 at 10:40:49 AM

Hey Glarien Fans,

Tina has finished the art for Glarien and Thane V2; it's an epic ride that we can't wait to share with you.

The book ended up at 64 pages of story -- 8 more than we'd originally planned. So hopefully that makes up for the slight delay in delivery. It's now in Jodie's queue to be lettered and should be wrapped up some time before the end of next month.

Also next month, if you're a fan of our universe, make sure you don't miss the launch of our White Ash Volume 2 hardcover.

Coming to Kickstarter on Monday, October 12th, this 400-plus-page, master edition of the second arc of the series is being printed in our 11"x 7.25" oversized format. The luxury hardcover collection will be a match to our other premium volumes and include:

• All the original Kickstarter stories (Chapters 05-10.5) and covers
• New Pin Ups
• Foil Stamping
• Choice of Dust Jackets
• Optional Slipcase

Sign up now to be the first to see our cover reveals and get notified the moment we go live so you don't miss out on limited-edition rewards(like our sketch plates) and early-bird discounts.

Thanks again for your patience with Glarien and Thane and the continued support of our universe.

Digital Catch-up Rewards sent
16 days ago – Tue, Sep 15, 2026 at 12:35:20 PM

Hey Glarien Fans,

Tina is alllllllmost done with the book. After that, it'll be off to Jodie for letters. Hopefully you and the printer will get a copy of the book next month.

In the meantime, we've just sent out all the digital catch-up rewards. So if your pledge came with anything EXCEPT Glarien and Thane V2, a digital copy should be on the way to your inbox.

Thanks again for your patience, everyone. This truly is going to be one of the prettiest books you've ever read.

Have a wonderful week,

Charlie and the rest of Team Glarien.

Surveys out tomorrow, and the art is almost finished
about 1 month ago – Tue, Aug 18, 2026 at 08:24:58 PM

Hey Glarien Fans,

So sorry for the delay in getting you your surveys. We've been dealing with some flooding and (fun fun) sewage overflow here in White Ash HQ. It's been a huge headache, and we've been swamped (pun intended) with lots of cleanup and rebuilding. The good news is no books (or White Ash/ Glarien product of any kind) were affected, but it delayed us getting the surveys out past where we wanted.  But that changes tomorrow.

Our goal is to start distribution of Digital Catch Up rewards in about another week. But to get those, you'll need to fill out your survey :)

Also, for SDCC, we had some prints made of the pencil version of Tina's variant cover to have at the booth to show off what was in the pipeline.  We have a few of these 6"x9" prints left. Printed on 18 pt. Ultra Premium Smooth White cardstock, they really showcase Tina's pencil work.

If you like, you can add one of those on when you fill out your survey.

In other good news, Tina has just started on the last section of (the now) 66-page adventure and should wrap up art duties soon. After that, it'll be on to Jodie for lettering and then on to you and the printer.

Thanks again for your patience, everyone. This one is for sure going to be worth the extra wait.

All our best,

Charlie and the rest of Team Glarien

Only a few hours left to pick up The Game Volume One
about 2 months ago – Tue, Aug 04, 2026 at 06:39:43 PM

Hey Glarien Fans,

Tina continues to deliver stunning page after stunning page. She's making real progress and hopefully will be finished relatively soon. In the meantime, we wanted to make sure you knew we had JUST 14 hours left for you to check out The Game Volume One.

Written as a love letter to classic sci-fi like The Highlander and Quantum Leap, I'm thrilled with how the first volume turned out. This campaign is the ONLY chance to get the hardcover with a bookplate signed by Charlie Stickney, Conor Hughes and Mauricio Mora.

And while The Game is not part of the White Ash/ Glarien Saga, it is set in the same universe, so who knows, down the road the two may have a moment together.

Thanks again everyone. Be back very soon with some exciting White Ash and Glarien news as well as more peeks at what Tina's been up to,

Charlie and the rest of Team Ash

SDCC Exclusive, Tina Update and The Game early-birds
3 months ago – Tue, Jul 14, 2026 at 12:17:07 PM

Hey Glarien Fans,

We wanted to pop in before we head down to San Diego with a quick update. Tina is back on the job, cranking out beautiful pages.

We're going to see her at San Diego Comic Con next week and we'll send along a hello from the world of Glarien.

If you are going to be at SDCC, please drop by the White Ash Comics Booth (2201) in the Independent Press Pavilion. There you can pick up our 2026 SDCC, gold-foil logo, convention exclusive. IF you're not at SDCC a few of these are still available through our current Kickstarter for The Game.

Today is also the last day to get in on the early-bird specials for our 168 page, deluxe edition hardcover of The Game.

If you've never checked out The Game before, it follows the story of the down-on-his-luck Eli, who, on his thirtieth birthday, is told he's Player Number 3 in a game that's been going for over a thousand years. And while not part of the White Ash/ Glarien narrative, The Game IS set in the same Universe. So who knows, down the line, there maybe be a bit of a crossover.

But for now, have a wonderful rest of your week everyone. We'll be in touch shortly after SDCC.

Charlie and the rest of team Glarien.
